LightEdge Vendor Certifications

Cloud Provider

|
Cisco Cloud Provider Partners purchase Cisco infrastructure products from their Cloud Builders or use their own Cisco relationship to build data centers to offer cloud-based services in a private or a multi-tenant environment. |
Allows LightEdge to offer services in a service provider model. As one of only 11 cloud certified providers in the United States, LightEdge has obtained MSCP status as a way of expanding our relationship with Cisco and reaching new customer bases looking for partners with the skill set to build and host data center and cloud computing platforms. This achievement and investment not only offers a financial incentive (deeper discounts/margin) but achieving this certification demonstrates our commitment to our customers that we are aligned and invested in Tier 1 providers that are considered “ Best In Class” and have proven and audited systems in place to demonstrate just so. |
| Premier Reseller |
Cisco Premier Certification expands technical competency in the integration of basic routing and switching, wireless LANs, and security technologies. It recognizes and rewards partners that have achieved the Express Foundation Specialization. |
Allows LightEdge to resell premise-based Cisco hardware LightEdge recognizes that customers need more from a service provider than one niche product. In order to better serve our customers hosted and on-site needs, LightEdge is pursing the dual path of a traditional reseller for products that work best onsite (wireless, etc.) while also pursuing MSCP designations for those products and services that can and should be moved to the cloud. |
| Data Center Unified Computing - Advanced Technology Partner |
The Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Authorized Technology Provider (DCUC ATP) Program helps Cisco partners address the growing, US$75 billion global market opportunity for unified computing solutions. The program allows partners to further expand their data center practices, including the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS). It helps identify, qualify, train, and empower a specifically-qualified group of Cisco channel partners to provide sales and support for the Cisco UCS. It is an invitation-only specialty. |
.The Unified Computing specialization designates LightEdge as one of the few US providers with the skill set to deploy Cisco’s next generation computing platform (UCS) on customer sites. Combined with our MSCP Cloud Provider designation this allows customers to leverage LightEdge for both on premise and cloud based computing solutions. By combining the best of both worlds LightEdge is the only Midwest based Cisco partner that can perform a complete end to end hybrid cloud for a customer. |
| Advanced Unified Communications - Specialty |
Prove your expertise in integrated Cisco Unified Communications solutions |
One of the primary goals of cloud computing is to provide enhanced flexibility and improved disaster recovery. Customers that utilize UC today are looking for ways to avoid investing in expensive hardware upgrades as well as providing better ways to secure their mission critical voice systems. By becoming a UC specialized partner LightEdge will be able to work with customers to maximize their existing investment while providing more scalable service. For customers where the entry cost of UC was too high, the LightEdge Managed UC system (based on Call Manager / Unity and Cisco Presence Server) provides a full feature rich deployment of UC with the advantage of a monthly payment instead of the purchase of dedicated equipment and licensing. |
