Jim has nearly 30 years of experience driving bottom-line growth through business development, sales, marketing and executive management roles for companies in the fields of networking and telecom.  Jim assumed the helm as CEO for Lightedge in 2004, and in that time the company has tripled in revenue, attained profitability, and reduced the debt to zero. Prior to coming to LightEdge Jim was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide sales and Marketing for Terabeam Corporation, and has held founding member strategic management roles with !NTERPRISE Data Networking, Rhythms NetConnections and USInternetworking. In 2006, Jim was selected as a regional finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award.

Jeff’s unique abilities, consistent drive and 22 years of experience allowed him to quickly redirect the company’s staff, processes and culture to take it to the next level.  He has a broad background in telecommunications and networking with previous positions in Terabeam, Inteliant Corporation and with Andersen Consulting helping Telecom Italia Mobile, Iridium, AT&T Wireless, Intel and MCI with their go to market strategies.

Steve joined LightEdge with 14 years of telecommunications and technology experience and brings a diverse background with both financial and operational management experience.  Steve has had extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions activities as well as involvement in fundraising activities from both internal and external investors.  Prior to joining LightEdge, he held executive management positions with Airband Communications, Sparkplug Communications and Prairie iNet, all wireless Internet service providers.

Travis Thompson
Chief Security Officer

With over 20 years of experience in network management, engineering and platform architecture, Travis leads all of LightEdge’s data center and networking operations.  His knowledge of systems architecture and expertise in network design have allowed LightEdge to create a sophisticated, fault-tolerant network that is now ready to be scaled for the national presence that our investors have planned for the company.

T. J. Bangs
Regional Sales Vice President

T. J. Bangs brings more than 15 years of sales and leadership experience to LightEdge Solutions, Inc. to fulfill his role of Regional Sales Vice President.  Most recently he has served as the Director of Technology Consulting for RSM McGladrey, a full service Assurance, Tax and Business Consulting firm.  Prior to RSM McGladrey, Mr. Bangs has worked in engineering, sales and sales management roles for US West and AT&T.
