As Chairman and CEO, Jim Masterson leads the overall direction of the company and oversees sales and marketing operations. Prior to joining LightEdge, Jim spent four years as Senior
Vice President of worldwide sales and marketing for Terabeam Corporation, launching
their international organization on three continents while
also leading all product marketing and communication activities. With over 20 years of business
development, sales and marketing experience, Jim has created
successful business units and has successfully
led management teams for telecommunications startups such
as !NTERPRISE Data Networking, Rhythms NetConnections and
USinternetworking. In 2006, Jim was selected as a regional finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award. |

Jeffrey Springborn
President & Chief Operating Officer
As President and COO of LightEdge, Jeff Springborn currently
leads all aspects of network engineering and operations,
customer care, and new product and business development.
Prior to joining LightEdge, Jeff was the vice President of
Product Marketing at Terabeam Corporation, where he was responsible
for product management, including the development and delivery
of product messaging and global product distribution strategy.
Jeff has over 14 years of experience in the telecommunications
and information services industries and specializes in bringing
emerging telecommunications companies to market. He brings
a focus on strategic product planning and industry best practices
to our organization. Jeff has held senior leadership positions
at Terabeam, Inteliant Corporation and Andersen Consulting
and has enabled successful global go-to-market strategies
for companies including Telecom Italia Mobile, Iridium, AT&T
Wireless, Intel and MCI. |
