  • Archived Storage: A tape backup storage solution that provides an economical way to meet regulatory compliance and other long-term data requirements. Tapes are catalogued, archived in LightEdge’s secure data center and accessible when needed.

Block-level Incremental Backup
Block level incremental backup is the most efficient way to transport, store and administer data for an incremental backup. After the initial backup process, only changed blocks are transmitted to the LightEdge storage servers. Each incremental backup provides a snapshot of the system at that particular point in time. Recovery can be made from the last backup or any previous backup snapshots, either as a complete point-in-time recover or selective file-level recovery.
Transparent Backup
Managed Backup integrates seamlessly with your in-house network, or servers that are co-located or dedicated through LightEdge. Your production servers continue to operate normally, while Server Agents work in the background to transparently transmit data to LightEdge storage servers over a QoS managed connection at regular intervals during regular business hours. The frequency of backup allows for a more time sensitive recovery point and better overall data recovery.
Managed Recovery
When a recovery situation arises, the process is initiated and coordinated by your staff, but ultimately managed and implemented through LightEdge’s professional staff to ensure the safety of your data.
File, Volume, and Directory Level Restore
A unique snapshot technology allows many levels of restore. Professional administrators can quickly and easily restore files, volumes or directories based on an incremental snapshot. Together, the granular restoration functionality and professional restoration management ensures faster recovery time and better business continuity.
