Business Analyst – Marketing & Sales Operations

Position Summary

As a Business Analyst with LightEdge, you will work to meet the needs of internal stakeholders in the Sales and Marketing departments.  This role reports into Business Operations, a group that works to promote best practices in Communications, Systems, Workflow and Processes throughout the company.

We’re looking for an analytical problem solver with ability to work and communicate with a wide variety of staff members from entry level to C-level in every department.  This individual will work closely with the VP of Business Operations, VP of Sales and Director of Marketing to improve Sales Operations processes and continue implementation of the Pardot marketing system.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Operations
    • Continue implementation of the Pardot marketing system
    • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to implement Web Forms, Nurturing E-mail Campaigns and Lead Scoring/Grading
    • Create and train staff on processes and reporting related to Lead Generation Activities
    • Monitor inbound and outbound campaign activity and improve lead quantity and quality through A/B testing, analysis of conversion rates and cost reviews across platforms
    • Work hand-in-hand with PR, Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Events Management, and Digital team to ensure campaigns are coordinated and tracked from beginning to end
    • Use insights and findings from demand gen results to propose changes in direction
  • Sales Operations
    • Day to day administration of Salesforce including:
      • Monitor and maintain data quality within Salesforce and Pardot
      • Analyze data and create reports/dashboards to expose trends, risks and opportunities for Sales and Marketing Management
      • Train sales staff for continually improvement in Salesforce adoption and use
      • Create new fields, processes and workflows based on the needs of the Sales department

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Internal drive to seek out and solve problems
  • 3-5 years experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Pardot preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for reporting and data analytics
    • Microsoft Excel will be used heavily
    • Visio knowledge preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to leadership
  • Great relationship skills for working closely with our internal stakeholders
