LightEdge acquired the Raleigh, North Carolina, data center from OnRamp Access, Inc. in 2018. Our Raleigh data center offers security, a reliable power grid, redundant infrastructure, and superior connectivity. Located outside of 100-and 500-year floodplains, the city of Raleigh is 130 miles from the Atlantic Coast, 150 miles from Charlotte, 270 miles from Washington, D.C., and 400 miles from Atlanta. Raleigh is on the East Coast power grid, which is separate from the other two major power grids in the U.S.

Located in the heart of the Research Triangle Park, the largest research park in the country, outside of 100- and 500-Year Flood Plains.

Monitoring

Staffed 24/7/365 with certified support team members. LightEdge’s infrastructure and customer environments are monitored by LightEdge technical staff in Network Operations Centers (NOCs) at each of our data centers. If any issues arise, the NOC staff take immediate steps to address the situation.

Power

Situated on the Eastern U.S. power grid, isolated from the Texas and Western U.S. power grids. High density computing capable with power densities upwards of 30kW / Rack.

Cooling

LightEdge operates at greater than (n+1) redundancy in our HVAC infrastructure. Our approach to cooling our data centers allows for industry-leading levels of high-density computing, with the capability of operating at upwards of 30 kW per rack.

Racks – To meet smaller space requirements, you can opt for a rack-based solution in a more cost-effective, shared data center environment with the opportunity to add racks to scale as needed.
