LightEdge Now Listed Among IBM I Cloud Service Providers

DES MOINES, IA – October 13, 2020 – LightEdge, a leading provider of compliant cloud and colocation services, today announced their LightEdge Power Cloud offering has officially attained an IBM Validated Solution mark and will be listed as an approved IBM Cloud Provider on their site.

LightEdge has a dedicated team of IBM experts on staff with extensive experience working with IBM i and dedicated disaster recovery solutions. Through this team, LightEdge introduced a suite of IBM i on Power solutions that offer clients the same security and reliability they depend on with their IBM i environments in a flexible, redundant, and cost-effective cloud model.

“Becoming an IBM Validated Solution gives prospective clients confidence that LightEdge Power Cloud has been vetted by IBM themselves,” says Roger Mellman, Director of Business Development Enterprise Solutions at LightEdge. “There are many companies in the market who claim they are selling cloud for IBM i; however, they do not have the necessary multi-tenant architecture in place to be verified.”

The Validated Solution mark is a Business Partner mark from IBM. This mark helps companies and clients alike identify and promote technology solutions that have gone through a rigorous validation process to ensure that they meet IBM’s integration and compatibility standards. Once a company attains a Validated Solutions mark, they will be listed in the IBM Global Solutions Directory, deeming it “Ready for IBM Cloud.” This new mark means LightEdge Power Cloud stands among an exclusive set of validated cloud providers worldwide.
