LIGHTEDGE SOLUTIONS BECOMES THIRD CENTURYLINK DATA CENTER PARTNER IN IOWA

LightEdge Joins the CenturyLink Data Center Solutions Partner Program

DES MOINES, IA – May 12, 2015 – LightEdge Solutions announced today that it is becoming a CenturyLink Data Center Partner at their facility located in Altoona, Iowa.  As one of only three in the state of Iowa to have this distinction, this new partnership means that the facility will now be seen as a part of the CenturyLink network. For businesses, this means they can expect to see cost savings along with an additional reliable and scalable access option if they take advantage of Data Center or Cloud services provided by LightEdge.
The new Data Center partnership brings with it access options that are ideal for content-rich applications such as VoIP and unified communications, business continuity, disaster recovery and remote storage, as well as web collaboration, and web-based applications and video. Only data center facilities that can meet the security requirements of HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley and TCIP are approved for the program. LightEdge’s Data Center facilities are SSAE-18 SOC 1, Type II audited, for exactly those type of requirements.
“By becoming a CenturyLink Data Center Partner, LightEdge continues to strengthen our position as a leading Data Center provider in the Midwest. It allows our customers to leverage cost savings and scalability to move their critical applications and infrastructure to our Tier II data center facility,” said Jeff Springborn, President and COO of LightEdge.  “LightEdge continues to seek out opportunities to bring the best solutions to enable our customers to continue to evolve their businesses to the cloud. This partnership allows us to continue to make the journey to the cloud as smooth as possible for our customers.”
